I was Born August 1945 at Boca Raton Army Air Field, Florida,

My Father was Stationed there till WWII ended and He was Discharged !

After Dad was discharged we lived in Lake Worth for a short
period then back to Brooklyn, New York, where both of
my parents were born and raised.

1947

He was hired by Florida Public Utilities and began work in Marianna, Florida. After about 3 years Dad was promoted and we relocated to West Palm Beach, in 1951, which is where my parents wanted to be.

We rented my Uncles House in North West Palm Beach, who was in US Navy and stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba during that year.

My Parents went house hunting and in December 1952 we moved into a new
house at 924 Churchill Road, just West of Parker Avenue, in-between
Forest Hill and Southern Blvd.

The House under Construction in early 1952 and was finished in December.

This house was built Very well, had 2X8 roof trusses, 3/4' plywood, and a flat concrete tile roof that lasted 50 years, before replacement.

It survived many hurricanes with no damage

Can you say that about normal homes built today?

That's my Dads 1947 Plymouth in the

tank .... No way you could dent the
car body with hail or your hand !

I went to the Neighbor Schools of Palmetto, Conniston and
Graduated from Forest Hill in June of 1963.

I Got a year and a half in Palm Beach Junior College before HAVING to join the US Air Force in December 1965 ....

Thanks to the Vietnam War and President Johnson !
